Wednesday January 11 3.00pm at Museum. Guided Walk – “Lifting off the Layers…get the Local Lowdown and explore the Hidden Histories of Dunwich.” Take a fun walk around Dunwich, hearing stories about the quarantine station, the convict and the Benevolent Asylum. Experience the underground tunnel, hunt for archaeological ruins and find the hidden graves of the cemetery. $15 adults, $10 concession, children $2.
Thursday January 12 11.30am The History of Tourism on Minjerribah North Stradbroke Island. Slideshow of old photographs and stories about holidays. Museum admission applies. Gold coin for cuppa.
Tuesday January 17 Kids Time at the Museum – Cut and Glue Collage Making. Museum admission charges apply + $5.00 for activities. Materials supplied. Any time between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
Friday January 20 10.00am Sovereign Park Amity Point “Shipwrecks of the South Passage Bar”, $15 adults, $10 concession, children $2.
